A DFW painting studio built on prep, restraint, and craft.

Fenix Painters is a Dallas–Fort Worth painting company built around the part of painting most companies skim — the prep.

Why we exist

"The finish is only as good as the prep."

Prep is the job

Patching, sanding, caulking, and texture matching held to the same bar as the finish coat.

In-house, never subbed

W-2 crews. Drywall, trim, cabinets, plaster — same hands, same accountability.

Designer-grade decorative

Venetian plaster, limewash, Roman clay — done by the hands that did the sample.

Fenix Painters started after one too many homeowner calls that opened the same way: "It looked great when they finished — and now, a year in, you can see every patch, every seam, every shortcut."

Almost always, the failure was the prep. Rushed sanding. Caulking skipped on trim. Texture mismatched on a patch. Primer left off porous brick or raw drywall. The finish coat is the part you see — but the prep is what decides whether it holds.

So we built the studio backwards: prep first, finish second. Drywall, sheetrock, trim repair, and texture matching stay in-house — no subcontractor handoffs. Cabinet doors come off, get sprayed in our shop, and reinstall to a factory-style finish. Decorative finishes — Venetian plaster, limewash, Roman clay — are done by the same hands that did the sample.

Today we paint Dallas–Fort Worth — interiors, exteriors, cabinets, decorative finishes — across 32 cities from Highland Park to Frisco, Southlake, and Rockwall. We work with homeowners who care about the difference between fine and finished, and with designers who need a finish partner who can actually execute.
